This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) collected, protected, and used on the website (“Website”), “EntrePlug” custom plugins (“EntrePlug”), and any of their related products and services (collectively, “Services”) is handled. It also explains your options for how we use your Personal Information, as well as how you can access and update that information. This Policy is a legally binding contract between you (the "User") and Entrevity ("Entrevity," "we," "us," or "our"). You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy by accessing and using the Services. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies or individuals that we do not manage or employ.

Automatic collection of information

Our servers automatically record information that your browser or device transmits when you view the Website or utilize "EntrePlugs." This data may include your browser and device name and version, operating system type and version, device's IP address and location, language preferences, the webpage you were visiting before coming to the Services, pages of the Services you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on the Services, access times and dates, and other statistics.

Automatically collected information is only used to identify potential cases of abuse and to compile statistical data on the use and traffic of the Services. This statistical data is not otherwise aggregated in a way that could identify a specific system user.

Collection of personal information

You are not required to reveal your identity or provide any information that could be used to identify you as a specific, identifiable person in order to use the Services. However, if you wish to use some of the Services' features, you may be required to provide Personal Information (for example, your name and email address). When you create an account, publish content, make a purchase, or fill out any online forms on the Services, we receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. This information may also include the following if necessary:

In any case, we will be willing to clarify the specific legal basis for the processing, including whether the provision of Personal Information is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a condition of entering into a contract.

Billing and payments

In the case of paid services, we will ask for credit card or other payment account information, which will be used solely for payment processing. Your purchase transaction data is only kept for as long as it is required to complete your purchase. Your purchase transaction information will be deleted once that is completed. Your financial information will be stored in encrypted form on secure servers of our reputable payment gateway service provider, which is bound to treat your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy, where necessary for processing future payments and subject to your prior consent.

All direct payment gateways follow the PCI Security Standards Council's latest security standards. Sensitive and private data is exchanged over an SSL-secured communication channel that is encrypted and protected with digital signatures, and the Services are compliant with PCI vulnerability standards to provide the safest possible environment for Users. Malware scans are runned on a regular basis for added security and protection.

Managing information

You have the option to have certain Personal Information we hold about you deleted. As the Services evolve, the Personal Information you can delete may change. However, if you delete Personal Information, we may keep a copy of the unrevised Personal Information in our records for as long as we need it to meet our obligations to our affiliates and partners, as well as for the purposes described below. If you want to delete your Personal Information or your account permanently, you can do so through the settings page of your account or by contacting us.

Disclosure of information

We may share your information with our trusted third parties who work with us, any other affiliates and subsidiaries we rely on to assist in the operation of the Services available to you, depending on the requested Services or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any service you have requested. Personal Information is not shared with unaffiliated third parties. These service providers are not permitted to use or disclose your information unless it is required to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal obligations. We will only share your Personal

Information for these purposes with third parties who have privacy policies that are similar to ours or who agree to abide by our Personal Information policies. We only give these third parties the Personal Information they need to perform their jobs, and we do not give them permission to use or disclose Personal Information for their own marketing or other purposes.

If required or permitted by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, we will disclose any Personal Information we collect, use, or receive.

Your user account and Personal Information will most likely be among the assets transferred if we go through a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, or a sale of all or a portion of our assets.

Retention of information

Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, we will keep and use your Personal Information for as long as is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After you update or delete your Personal Information, we may use aggregated data derived from or incorporating it, but not in a way that would identify you personally. Personal Information will be deleted after the retention period has expired. As a result, after the retention period has expired, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced.

Entrevity aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Information if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA). Please contact us if you want to know what Personal Information we have about you and if you want it removed from our systems. You have the following data protection rights in certain circumstances:

  • You have the right to request access to your Personal Information that we keep on file, as well as the ability to access it.
  • You have the right to request that any Personal Information we hold about you be corrected if you believe it is incorrect. You also have the option of requesting that we complete any Personal Information that you believe is missing.
  • Under certain conditions of this Policy, you have the right to have your Personal Information erased.

  • You have the right to request that your Personal Information be processed in a certain way. We may store your Personal Information if you restrict its processing, but we will not process it further.

Carlifonia privacy rights

California residents who provide Personal Information (as defined in the statute) to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once a calendar year, information about the Personal Information we shared, if any, with other businesses for marketing purposes, in addition to the rights outlined in this Policy. This information would include, if applicable, the categories of Personal Information as well as the names and addresses of those businesses with whom we shared such personal information in the previous calendar year (e.g., requests made in the current year will receive information about the prior year). How can these rights be exercised?

Requests to exercise your rights should be sent to Entrevity using the contact information provided in this document. Please be aware that before responding to such requests, we may ask you to verify your identity. Your request must include enough information for us to verify that you are the person you claim to be or that you are the person's authorized representative. You must provide enough information for us to properly understand and respond to your request. We won't be able to respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information unless we can confirm your identity or authority to make such a request, as well as that the Personal Information you've requested is about you.

Children’s privacy

We do not collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18 without their consent. Please do not submit any Personal Information through the Services if you are under the age of 18. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to assist in the enforcement of this Policy by instructing their children to never provide Personal Information through the Services without their consent. All emails sent from us will clearly state who the email is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can opt out of receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email or contacting us. You will, however, continue to receive important transactional emails.

The Services may contain links to resources that are not under our control or ownership. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third-party resources or websites. When you leave the Services, we encourage you to be aware and read the privacy statements of any and all resources that may collect Personal Information.

If we believe there is a reasonable risk of harm to the user as a result of the breach, or if notice is otherwise required by law, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals.
